1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using STEMQuiz, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
• Provide accurate account information
• Use the app lawfully

Parents are responsible for minor users under their supervision.

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Keeping your login information secure

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

4. App Usage Rules

You agree NOT to:

• Cheat or manipulate quiz results
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities
• Reverse engineer the app or its source code
• Use bots, scripts, or automation tools
• Harass other users in community features
• Upload offensive or illegal content
• Attempt to hack or manipulate leaderboards
• Circumvent access controls or subscription requirements

5. Intellectual Property

All content including questions, graphics, audio, logos, code, and design are owned by Intellorix LLC or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our written permission.

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Premium subscriptions may include:

• 3-day free trial (if offered)
• Monthly or annual billing options

Important billing terms:

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Cancel before a trial ends to avoid charges
• Refunds follow Apple App Store, Google Play, and Stripe policies
• Prices may change with advance notice

7. Access Tiers

STEMQuiz operates on a three-tier access model:

• Guest: Level 1 only; one lifetime quiz per subject with no reset
• Free: One quiz per subject per 24 hours; level progression requires passing current level
• Premium: Unlimited quizzes, all levels, all lifelines, no ads

We reserve the right to modify feature access with notice to users.

8. Virtual Currency (Coins & Rewards)

Coins and rewards earned in STEMQuiz:

• Have no real-world monetary value
• Cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred
• May expire or be modified at our discretion

9. Leaderboards & Public Display

Usernames, scores, and country may appear publicly on leaderboards. You may change your display name in your profile settings at any time.

10. Community Guidelines

If chat or forum features are enabled, you must: be respectful to other users, avoid hate speech and harassment, avoid spam and misinformation. We may moderate and remove content at our sole discretion without prior notice.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts if: Terms are violated, fraud is detected, or abuse occurs. Users may delete their accounts at any time through the app settings.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

STEMQuiz is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee: continuous availability, error-free operation, perfect quiz accuracy, or specific learning outcomes. Educational content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional academic advice.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Intellorix LLC shall not be liable for: indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; loss of data or profits; damages arising from unauthorized access to your account; or any matter beyond our reasonable control. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Delaware.
